- A player who catches the ball while progressing may take two steps in coming to a stop, passing or shooting. (Source: FIBA OBR 2026, Art. 25.2.1)

- If a player lands on one foot, only that foot may be used as the pivot foot. (Source: FIBA OBR 2026, Art. 25.2.1)
- Having jumped off one foot and landed on both together, the player may not pivot with either foot. (Source: FIBA OBR 2026, Art. 25.2.1)
- From that landing, the ball must be away before a foot comes back down. (Source: FIBA OBR 2026, Art. 25.2.1)

- A two-foot jump must end with the ball gone before any foot lands. (Source: FIBA OBR 2026, Art. 25.2.1)

- B, C and D each pivot on a foot the landing has ruled out; A does not. (Source: FIBA OBR 2026, Art. 25.2.1)
