### 테스트 1: Advantage, free hits and a second offence

- A penalty is awarded only when a player or team has been disadvantaged by an opponent breaking the Rules. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.1)
- Any player's offence between the 23-metres areas gives a free hit to the opposing team. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.2 (a))
- An attacker's offence in the 23-metres area the opponents defend gives them a free hit. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.2 (b))
- An unintentional offence by a defender outside the circle in their 23-metres area gives the attackers a free hit. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.2 (c))
- Intent changes the penalty: the same place, done on purpose, earns the attackers a corner. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.3 (c))
- If another offence or misconduct happens before the penalty is taken, a more severe penalty and a personal penalty may be awarded. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.5)
- A penalty may be reversed if the later offence was committed by the team first awarded it. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.5 (c))
- Light was not disadvantaged, so no penalty is given; the umpire's arm, raised high towards light's attack, shows advantage. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.1)
- A free hit, then a penalty corner, then a penalty stroke. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rules 12.2-12.4)
- An intentional offence there gives a penalty corner, taken from the back-line inside the circle. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rules 12.3 (c), 13.3)

## 12.122 Corners and Strokes

When an offence in or near the circle brings a penalty corner or a penalty stroke.

### 테스트 1: Penalty corners and penalty strokes

- A defender's offence in the circle that does not stop a probable goal gives a penalty corner. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.3 (a))
- Stopping a likely goal by an offence is punished harder than an ordinary circle offence: a stroke. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.4 (a))
- An intentional offence in the circle against an opponent without the ball or a chance to play it gives a penalty corner. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.3 (b))
- Possession of the ball, or a real chance to play it, is what turns this deliberate foul into a stroke. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.4 (b))
- A penalty corner is awarded when the ball lodges in a player's clothing or equipment in the circle they defend. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.3 (e))
- Goalkeepers may deflect the ball with stick, protective equipment or any part of the body in any direction, including over the back-line. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.3 (d))
- The circle is part of the defenders' 23-metres area, so an attacker's foul there is a free hit for the defence. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.2 (b))
- With the goalkeeper stranded, the offence prevented the probable scoring of a goal. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rule 12.4 (a))
- A foul that prevents a probable goal gives a penalty stroke, taken from the penalty spot. (출처: FIH Rules 2027, Rules 12.4, 13.7)
