### 테스트 1: Where the line judges stand

- Two line judges stand at the corners closest to each referee's right hand, diagonally 1 to 2 m from the corner. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.1)
- Each one controls both the end line and the side line on his side. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.1)
- They stand in the free zone 1 to 3 m from each corner, on the imaginary extension of the line they control. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.1)
- Line judges signal with flags of 40 by 40 cm. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.2.1)
- At the 1st referee's request a line judge must repeat his signal. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.2.2)
- Each of the four stands on the extension of the one line he controls. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.1)
- The rule gives that request to the 1st referee. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.2.2)
- C is in the free zone about 2 m from the corner, on the extension of the side line; A is on court, B too far out, D at mid-side. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.1)
- The line judge flags his line, and the referee then ends the rally with his own signal. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.2.1.1)
- The judge confirms what he saw; it remains the 1st referee who rules. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.2.2, 23.2.1)

## 29.292 What the Line Judges Signal

In and out, touched balls, foot faults, the antenna, the crossing space and players outside the court.

### 테스트 1: What the line judges signal

- They signal in or out whenever the ball lands near their lines. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.2.1.1)
- They signal touches of 'out' balls by the team receiving the ball. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.2.1.2)
- They signal the foot faults of the server. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.2.1.5)
- They signal any contact with the top 80 cm of the antenna on their side by a player playing the ball or interfering. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.2.1.6)
- They signal the ball crossing outside the crossing space into the opponents' court or touching the antenna on their side. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.2.1.7)
- They signal any player, apart from the server, who is outside his court at the moment of the service hit. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.2.1.4)
- Lines belong to the court, so a ball touching the line is in. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 8.3, 29.2.1.1)
- The server is the one exception; a receiver outside the court at the hit is flagged. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.2.1.4)
- The line judge signals the foot fault and the 1st referee ends the rally. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 12.4.3, 29.2.1.5)
- The crossing space lies between the antennae; touching the antenna or passing outside it is a fault the line judge signals. (출처: FIVB OVR 2025-2028, Rule 29.2.1.7, 10.1.1)
