### Test 1: Racing indoors

- An indoor triathlon takes place in a closed space, such as a sports pavilion, with a pool, a cycling track and a running track. (Source: World Triathlon Competition Rules (January 2025), 14.1 a (Indoor Triathlon))
- Indoors, athletes can draft from others who are on a different lap. (Source: World Triathlon Competition Rules (January 2025), 14.3 Cycling b (Indoor Triathlon))
- The two swimmers in a lane keep to the side all the time. (Source: World Triathlon Competition Rules (January 2025), 14.2 a (Indoor Triathlon))
- Athletes sponge off excess water, because water on the track makes it slippery and dangerous. (Source: World Triathlon Competition Rules (January 2025), 14.3 b (Indoor Triathlon))
- Not complying with the compulsory neutralised period results in disqualification. (Source: World Triathlon Competition Rules (January 2025), 14.3 b (Indoor Triathlon))
- In indoor triathlon lapped athletes are not removed from the race. (Source: World Triathlon Competition Rules (January 2025), 14.3 Cycling a (Indoor Triathlon))
- Spike shoes are not allowed on the indoor run. (Source: World Triathlon Competition Rules (January 2025), 14.4 a (Indoor Triathlon))
- Swim, the neutral period to dry off where one is set, then the bike and the run on their indoor tracks. (Source: World Triathlon Competition Rules (January 2025), 14.1-14.4 (Indoor Triathlon))
- Being lapped indoors costs nothing but time, and the lapped rider may sit on the leaders' wheels. (Source: World Triathlon Competition Rules (January 2025), 14.3 Cycling a-b (Indoor Triathlon))
- The plan already says to keep to the side, which is how a pair can share one 2.5 m lane. (Source: World Triathlon Competition Rules (January 2025), 14.2 a (Indoor Triathlon))
