Level 2 takes the Laws that Level 1 introduced and works them in practice: the bowling Laws, from the delivery stride and the front- and back-foot no-ball to the throw, the beamer and the short-pitched limits; the batting Laws, obstructing the field, hitting the ball twice, timed out, retired hurt against retired out and leaving the crease; the fielding and wicket-keeping Laws, where the keeper may stand and move, fake fielding, a fielder off the field and the substitute rules; the umpires and their decisions, the signals, the soft signal and its retirement, the Decision Review System, umpire's call and ball-tracking, and the third and fourth umpire and the match referee; and the match regulations, powerplays, over-rate penalties, intervals, DLS in outline, concussion replacements and the free hit.
