4 parts · 20 tests · 200 facts · updated 12 October 2026 · markdown
Law 38 sets out when either batter is out Run out (out of his ground and his wicket fairly broken by a fielder's action or a rebound off a fielder, even on a No ball, whether or not a run is attempted), when he is not out (leaving the ground to avoid injury, no fielder touch, Stumped, a No ball and the keeper), the non-striker leaving his ground early, which batter is out, the runs scored and that the bowler gets no credit.
