Test 1The well-balanced programTake a test

  1. Senior and junior men and women may have at most six jump elements in Free Skating, one of which must be an Axel-type jump.

  2. At most three spins: one spin combination, one flying spin and one choreographic spin.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.1 · recall

  3. Senior programs hold at most one step sequence and one choreographic sequence; the junior well-balanced program lists only the choreographic sequence.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.1 · applied

  4. Elements must be linked by connecting steps of a different nature and comparable movements over the whole ice; crossovers are not considered connecting steps.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · recall

  5. Any element beyond the prescribed numbers is not counted, and only the first attempt, or the allowed number of attempts, is taken into account.

  6. There may be up to two jump combinations, or one jump combination and one jump sequence.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · recall

  7. Three jumps are allowed in only one of the two; the other is limited to two jumps.

  8. A senior well-balanced program has at most one step sequence, three spins and six jump elements.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.1 · applied

  9. The panel keeps the first try; a second try of an element allowed only once earns nothing.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · applied

  10. The maximum is six jump elements, three spins and one step sequence. B plans seven jump elements; A, C and D stay within the limits.

Test 2Repetitions of jumpsTake a test

  1. The same type of jump, independent of the number of revolutions, may be included no more than three times.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · recall

  2. Any double jump, including the double Axel, may be included no more than twice, as a solo jump or in a combination or sequence.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · recall

  3. Of all triple, quadruple and quint jumps only two can be executed twice.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · recall

  4. Of the two repetitions allowed among triples, quads and quints, only one may be a quadruple or quint jump.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · recall

  5. If both executions of a repeated jump are solo jumps, the second is given 80% of its value in the Scale of Values; putting one of them in a combination or sequence avoids that.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · applied

  6. Triple, quadruple and quint jumps with the same name count as different jumps for repetitions, though both still count toward the three uses of the Lutz type.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · applied

  7. No triple, quadruple or quint jump can be attempted more than twice in the Free Skating.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · applied

  8. A repeated jump done twice as a solo jump gets 80% the second time, so 3.00 becomes 2.40, below the 2.50 jump. The values are examples, not the season's table.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · applied

  9. If an extra jump is executed, only the individual jump that is not according to the requirements has no value, and the jumps are considered in the order of execution.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · applied

  10. Only two triples or quads may be repeated. B repeats three: the triple Lutz, the triple Flip and the triple toe loop. A and C repeat at most two triples, D one quad.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · recall

  2. Flying spins need six revolutions and spin combinations ten; a lack of them must be reflected by the judges in their marking.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · recall

  3. In the Free Skating spin combination the change of foot is optional; in the Short Program it must have exactly one.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · recall

  4. Listed jumps of up to one and a half revolutions in the step sequence are not called; listed jumps of more than one and a half are called and occupy a box.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · applied

  5. A choreographic spin needs at least three consecutive revolutions on one or two blades in any basic or non-basic position; changes of foot are optional and may be several.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · recall

  6. If the choreographic spin is not identifiable, the third performed spin is considered the choreographic spin. It has a fixed base value and only a GOE.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · applied

  7. It enhances the choreography with at least two different movements, such as spirals, spread eagles, Ina Bauers, hydroblading, jumps of up to two revolutions or spins; listed elements in it are not called.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · recall

  8. The choreographic spin needs three consecutive revolutions, the flying spin six and the spin combination ten.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · applied

  9. The sequence begins with the first and ends with the last choreographed movement; steps and turns may link them, and the pattern is free but must be clearly visible.

Source: ISU Sports Rules S&P/ID 2026, Rule 612.2 · applied

  10. All spins must be of a different character. C repeats CCoSp, so the second one is deleted, though it still occupies a spin box. A, B and D each hold three different spins.
