第9章考察曲棍球背后的商业和观众：球衣赞助商、特许经营联赛、奖金，以及1986年男子世界杯的组织工作。其中大部分涉及印度曲棍球，但也涉及爱尔兰的世界杯之旅和国际曲联职业联赛。
