  1. It is the standard hold: a V on each hand lets the stick be turned and controlled from either hand.

  2. Closing each hand round the handle makes a V between thumb and index finger; the two Vs together give a firm, adjustable hold.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, pagine sulle abilità · richiamo

  3. Keeping the Vs on the flat front face lines the hands up with the stick face, so the player always knows where the face points.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, gioco a sei · richiamo

  5. The right hand supports the stick from lower down while the left hand at the top does the turning.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, gioco a sei · richiamo

  6. A relaxed right hand lets the stick turn in the left hand, which helps when switching between front and reverse sides.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, abilità di eliminazione dell'avversario · richiamo

  8. The top hand fixes the stick first; the lower hand then joins a little way down so both Vs sit on the flat face.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, pagine sulle abilità · richiamo

  9. The right hand must loosen first, or it would block the left hand from rotating the stick; both then grip again to play.

Test 2Mani distanziate, mani uniteFai un test

  1. Two fists of space gives a push enough leverage while keeping the hands close enough to steer the stick head.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, il push · richiamo

  2. Gripping at the very top gives the stick its longest lever for the hit.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, l'hit · richiamo

  3. Like the hit, the slap is a swinging stroke, so the hands start together at the top of the handle.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, lo slap · richiamo

  5. Unite in alto, il bastone compie un ampio arco.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, l'hit · richiamo

  7. Dribbling past a defender needs fine stick control, so the hands stay apart and the right hand loose enough to turn the stick.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, abilità di eliminazione dell'avversario · richiamo

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, pagine sulle abilità · richiamo

  9. The right hand slides up to meet the left because a hit needs both hands together to swing the long arc.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, l'hit · applicazione

  10. A hit needs a long swing, so both hands grip together at the very top of the handle, as in the picture.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, l'hit · applicazione

Test 3L'impugnatura cortaFai un test

  1. Moving the hands down to the middle shortens the stick's lever, which lets the swing be quick and compact.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, hit con impugnatura corta · richiamo

  2. A shorter lever needs less swing to reach the ball, so the stick goes back only a little.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, hit con impugnatura corta · richiamo

  5. A square face sends the ball where the face points, so aiming the face at the target is what makes the hit accurate.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, hit con impugnatura corta · richiamo

  6. Lo swing all'indietro e quello in avanti insieme formano mezza circonferenza.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, l'hit · richiamo

  7. Bending the front knee at contact lowers the body so the stick can reach the ball on the ground.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, l'hit · richiamo

  8. The hands go to the middle first because the short grip sets the size of the swing; a square face at contact sends the ball to the target.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, hit con impugnatura corta · richiamo

  9. Nessun movimento all'indietro, uno piccolo, poi lo swing completo.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, hit con impugnatura corta · richiamo

  10. Hands together halfway down shorten the lever, which makes this a quick short grip hit rather than a full one.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, il push · richiamo

  8. The aim comes before the step so the step goes along the target line, and the weight transfer then drives the ball that way.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, il push · richiamo

  9. Bent knees and a straight back give a stable base, the extended left elbow frees the stick, and the head up keeps the field in view.

Fonte: KNHB/SAHA Field Hockey Activity Guide, abilità di eliminazione dell'avversario · applicazione

Domande frequenti

Cosa significa controllo stretto?
